Jungle Orchid is a transitional housing program for veterans, nestled in the heart of South Memphis, Tennessee. Jungle Orchid is dedicated to supporting veterans by providing therapeutic farm work, access to healthy food choices, and job opportunities. Our mission is to create a sanctuary where veterans can reconnect with nature, nourish their bodies with locally grown organic foods, and nurture their souls through therapy and education. Community Manager (TBD):
Are you passionate about fostering community, connecting people, and nurturing growth? Jungle Orchid is seeking a dedicated Community Cultivator to join our team and help us sow the seeds of camaraderie and collaboration within our vibrant ecosystem. As our Community Cultivator, you will be the heartbeat of Jungle Orchid, responsible for cultivating meaningful relationships with our veteran residents, organizing community events, and facilitating therapeutic farming workshops to promote healing and well-being.
Harvest Coordinator (TBD):
As the Harvest Coordinator, you'll be the orchestrator of our bountiful harvests, coordinating the picking, packing, and distribution of our fresh produce to our local community and veteran residents. Your meticulous attention to detail and logistical prowess will ensure that each harvest is a success, providing nourishment and delight to our community.
